OSIRIS project to guide ICT research infrastructures

OSIRIS: Towards an Open and Sustainable ICT Research Infrastructure Strategy
OSIRIS is a project funded under the European Seventh Framework Programme (FP7)
The main aim of the OSIRIS project initiative is to build the platform, mechanism and models required to secure the efficient involvement of Member States, Associated Countries and regions to develop cross border public-public partnerships and to establish a coordinated approach to future large scale investments in transnational European ICT RIs.
The expected results of OSIRIS are:
• The establishment of a platform to providecontinuous analysis and recommendations on existing and future European ICT RIs regarding cross-border shared methodologies and best practices
• The development of procedures, rules and management mechanisms for coordinated
investments in large scale transnational ICT RI’s in Europe
• Sustainability models and recommendations for future coordinated investments within and across European ICT RIs, emphasizing on complementary or common planning of investments and investment policies
